  • The Hungarian Book Agency - supplies the ex-pat Hungarian community in Britain with reading material - whether books, newspapers or magazines. Apart from ten different categories of books, they carry a small stock of videos, DVDs, audio tapes and CDs, CD-ROMs, mini-books, sheet music - you name it!>>>

     

  • British-Hungarian Fellowship -The aim of the Fellowship was and remains to foster friendship and understanding between the peoples of Britain and Hungary through organising meetings to discuss topics of mutual interest as well as providing a forum for those with an interest in Hungary.

  • Marlow Budavár Town Twinning Association's aim is to encourage friendship between the inhabitants and the social, sporting and cultural organisations of Marlow and Budavár.   • Hungarian Literature Online an affiliate of www.litera.hu, was launched in April 2004 to promote contemporary Hungarian literature in English on the internet. HLO is designed to offer a growing range of materials, resources and services for a worldwide audience with a general interest in Hungarian literature as well as for publishers, scholars and students specialising in this field. >>>

 

  • Hungarian Book Foundation Grant for translation of Hungarian books: The Translation Fund works within the frames of the Hungarian Book Foundation. Main tasks: (1) grants for translations from Hungarian (2) literary information centre. Translation grants: The Fund gives financial support to foreign publishers for translations of Hungarian literary works, from 60% up to 100% (depending on to the decision of the jury) of the whole translation costs. >>>

 

  • Gere Winery - Attila Gere has been building his winery into one of the top estates in Hungary. It is located in the southern part of the country in the premium red wine region Villany. Here Gere produces his flagship wines Kopar and Solus. Both are testament to the fact that Hungary can produce excellent red cuvees on par with Bordeaux.>>>

 

  • Trio Spirito- The Trio Spirito formed in 2008 comprising three talented musicians from Hungary and England. They are members of the I Maestri Orchestra (London), Zsuzsa Berényi as leader, Anna Colwille as principal viola and Linda Kolláti as principal cello player.
